MARKET OVERVIEW
Poland’s machinery and equipment sector spans heavy industrial production, hydraulic systems, precision components, and OEM subcontracting across agriculture, mining, construction, and material handling. It also includes the technology layer: process optimisation tools, industrial consumables, and engineering design services, each with their own client acquisition logic. Purchasing decisions are made in Polish, supplier relationships run deep, and outsourcing culture varies sharply by company type and ownership structure – with foreign-owned manufacturers showing different procurement behaviours than Polish-owned OEMs.
We help manufacturers and technology companies identify the right clients, partners, and acquisition targets in this market. Whether the objective is a distribution partnership, a subcontracting client base, or a direct sales pipeline, we bring structured outreach and qualified commercial results.
HOW WE SEE THIS SECTOR
Machinery and equipment is our broadest sector, and the one where the range of client challenges is most varied. Our work here has covered three recurring project types. In distribution partner search – run for clients in industrial consumables, technical damping systems for rail and military use, and medical-adjacent equipment – we built custom longlists, applied segment-specific screening, and ran Polish-language outreach to validate commercial fit before introducing the client. In client identification and direct outreach, we mapped the full EAF steel mill universe in Poland for an energy optimisation technology company, produced a 100% technology-fit confirmation rate across four qualifying facilities, and supported the client to a 151,700 EUR tender win within six months. For a hydraulic cylinder manufacturer, we built a 79-company prospect database across seven industrial sectors, ran structured outreach to 22 companies, and identified 10 active prospects including 2 at RFQ or negotiation stage.
In market entry analysis, we arranged a 15-company roadshow for an engineering and design services client across five target segments – an engagement that ended with the client announcing a Polish acquisition within six months of project completion.
